Your wage stays in your browser

The personal hourly wage calculator runs on your device. We do not send the amount you enter to our server, Google Analytics or BigQuery. We do not record form contents or sessions.

Optional analytics

If you select “Allow analytics”, Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4. It measures public page visits and engagement, with device and browser information, approximate location and a pseudonymous cookie identifier. It does not identify you by name. URL query strings and fragments are excluded from our page-view events. Administrator and authentication pages are excluded.

We use this information to understand which parts of the index people use. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google Signals. Google may process analytics data outside your country. See Google’s privacy policy.

Analytics events may be exported daily to a dedicated Google BigQuery project for reporting. The export does not include your personal wage input. Access is restricted to the site operator and the Google service identity needed to deliver the export.

Your choice

Analytics tags remain unloaded until you agree. You can reject analytics without losing any site functionality. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the tags.

Your consent preference is stored on your device for up to 180 days. Country and region preferences are also stored locally to restore your selection. Essential hosting and security requests remain necessary to operate the site. Vercel supplies an approximate country code for the initial country selection; we do not request precise device location.
